Well well well

Where to even begin

10 years of enjoying the delightful sights of Beatherder festival and the wonderful seeing of the rolling hills of Lancashire (Yorkshire 😉) and all the Northern people. Best people in the world.

I facking love this place.

Will always have a special spot in my heart.

Big up all the beatherder family. All those who have been going since the beginning. Since 2011, crazy. And those who this was your first time! Welcome to the family Tim and Beth x

A special shout out to my special lady and wonderful wife to be. Thank you for coming darling, I know you have a lot on right now.

It was amazing as always to spend another festival weekend with you. We have frequented beatherder together since 2012. Incredible to think really.

Love you x

Also let's not forget Felix, who is an absolute festival trooper and part of the beatherder furniture by now. Felix and his tent have been every single beatherder since 2011. Fair play, mad bastard. Not sure who looks worse for it, him or his tent hehe.

Here is sexy Timmy, rocking his new locks. It's a winner Tim, grow your locks.

Img 20260717 Wa0007

Ooo hello sexy, nice jacket who bought you that?

Img 20260720 Wa0047

Thank you all so much for making the trip. Wonderful to be back at this special place with all of you.

For sure, one day we will be back again!

Right, @⁨Tim Chadwick⁩ and @⁨Felix⁩ + everyone else reading along later. Settle back and for the next couple of hours I will share a selection of beatherder highlights along with some tunes caught along the way. I managed to pick up 30+ tracks over the weekend so we are in for a treat I hope.

Stick this on and replay the weekend.

Or youtube if you prefer :)

Enjoy :)

I will go loosely in order of the weekend as it unfolded. This was the first track I got apparently. From 15:24 on Friday. Not sure where, but its got a funky beat.

Friday evening, just easing ourselves in. Here's Kathy and Beth looking fabulous as the sun set over our campspot.

Img 20260720 Wa0139

Friday was all about the Boombox Circus at Hotel California, where the DnB was popping off all night long and the vibrations could be felt in three dimensions throughout your body and even the wooden floor started to bounce up and down to the beat. No pictures or tunes from this one unfortunately, maybe @⁨Felix⁩ you can send us a couple since they were your boyos?

One absolute highlight was seeing faithless headline the mainstage Friday night. This was a treat.

So so many bangers. To see it live, wow.

Kathy enjoyed herself hahaha. We all did.

Friday night Boom box!

@⁨Felix⁩ has come in with some crackers! Great stuff 🙏

Here's one from the alchemist.

Anyone see any good Beatherder TV this year?

Img 20260721 Wa0007

Another funky little number from somewhere around the fields.

A slight tangent, but I love it. Check out one of the glorious trees of Beatherder. Give it some appreciation, contribute your own memories to its presence if you feel so called. https://treeappreciation.com/tree/3mr5rdbk5as2b

Okay, lets move on to Saturday. Always a good day.

Especially to sink a few jars in one of the best pubs in the world. Had many a funny time in this place.

Img 20260720 Wa0140

Here is the Ken dawg looking a bit worse for wear. A few jars sorted the man out.

Img 20260721 Wa0008

Or a nice stroll in the woods.

Img 20260721 Wa0009

I personally enjoyed chilling out to these beautiful mellow beats in smokies.

Not everyone's cup of tea though.

Img 20260721 Wa0010

Especially Charlie who was determined to stress my chill 😂

RIP pineapple and rum, sad times.

Least I can count on Oli to kick back a chill.

Img 20260720 Wa0135

Tunes were so lovely for a lazy afternoon chill as well.

Tbf I did miss the dick in the bucket from this funny bastard. Least I caught Jah Mouses new English national anthem.

Pledge allegiance to the crown. Lol.

Img 20260720 Wa0138

Jimmy D in da house! Welcome to the after party jams laddy.

Img 20260720 Wa0127

You sexy beast.

I wish I didn't miss you baby x

A nice jazzy number.

Mellow tunes for the Saturday sunshine.

Wonderful to have the Calmister join the party on Saturday. Strong effort, fair play. Thailand to beatherder express. We love to see it.

Img 20260721 Wa0011

Living the wiggies too, you boys are rockin it.

Img 20260720 Wa0097

Bradfordians in the house, representin.

Img 20260721 Wa0013

An absolute bopper from Friday night.

You sexy thang.

Img 20260721 Wa0014

Just a couple of gay boys in paris.

Img 20260720 Wa0054

Fortress for Paul Taylor on an Ally J top tip. Shame she bailed on us haha.

Img 20260721 Wa0015
Img 20260721 Wa0016

Think this was one from him.

Img 20260721 Wa0017

Let's hear it for the sunshine. Bathing us in it's delightful rays all weekend long.

Img 20260721 Wa0018

The toil trees. A special place. Crazy to think this tree has grown up to the tunes of the toil trees. I bet she loves to party.

Img 20260721 Wa0019

Then it was back to the mainstage for some bad boy dnb. First with king of the rollers.

If you like dnb then you really love jungle.

Then Sigma to close it out. Class. Another group id never really paid attention to before.

Many a roller in here - https://www.redbull.com/gb-en/best-classic-drum-and-bass-rollers

They call me Mr Boombastic.

Img 20260721 Wa0021
Img 20260720 Wa0046

Saturday was a dnb night. All night long. Tbf it was a DnB weekender. Great selection from the Beatherder crew. A highlight for me, as always, was the bad gal Lens. She is a DnB DJing genius with a feminine touch that I appreciate. Give us the sing song, before the dirty bass. Legend. One to watch for sure.

Keep doing your ting your way Lens.

Img 20260721 Wa0022

Saturday closed us out with a glorious sunrise which fabz and I appreciated while brushing our teeth.

Img 20260721 Wa0024

Okay then, let's wiz through Sunday. Sunday funday. And what a special day this was.

Mr David Price aka Gull eased us in with some soothing reggae tunes.

Mans got a selection!

Managed to get our only group photo of the weekend. Apart from Cal who was too busy sleeping. Lazy bastard.

Img 20260720 Wa0091

We had a lovely wedding rehearsal in the chapel.

Img 20260720 Wa0088

More practice needed lol.

Img 20260720 Wa0076

Then Ken, Ben, Kathy and Beth all said their fairwells and went on their merry way home.

Img 20260720 Wa0103

Missed out, sorry to say it.

Sunday is such a magical festival day. Everyone walking around glowing and beaming with joy after one of the most magical weekends of their lives.

Shout out to all the beautiful people. Like these two lovely ladies.

Img 20260720 Wa0077

Herd em up!

Img 20260720 Wa0096

A calming Sunday tune.

Okay let me see if I can wrap up Sunday.

Enjoying my rummy pineapple while watching the beatherders talent winner. The Wrays was 🔥

Img 20260721 Wa0031

And my days did this man have some talent.

Have a listen to this madman. Connor aka the Enigma. Dropping some rollers.

Got to catch up with Jodie at Mr Scruff, always a treat! You are going to be an amazing mother x

Img 20260720 Wa0129

Aswell as Mister Mac, whom we have shared many a festival field with.

Img 20260721 Wa0033

Smoked the most chilling doob of the weekend at the bushrocker hifi, monging with Oli under the shade.

Img 20260721 Wa0034

Arguably the best view of the weekend.

Img 20260720 Wa0126

This one's definitely from Mr Scruff. Doing what he does best, holding down the groove for four hours on Sunday afternoon.

There was a little too much lazing at the tent for my liking, but when Amber's gotta get pissed you don't get in her way.

Img 20260721 Wa0035

I just left them to it for a couple of hours. Had a chilling time on my ones.

Reggae of omega nebula and queen omega was chilling.

Then jungle from DJ hybrid to hype me up for the night.

We were definitely raised on the jungle. Jungle Jam, Leeds represent.

Crew assembled for David Rodigan. Fair play, this geezer is 75 and still rocking it with the best. It was a right blast from the past.

I love this song, give you a bit of reggae history and helps you appreciate the impact he had on the reggae scene in the UK.

Not just an old white guy playing reggae. Mans got respect.

Img 20260720 Wa0124

Wiggies assemble.

Img 20260721 Wa0036

Closed out the Sunday with Wilkinson, another dnb surprise for me. Great stuff.

Just missed Felix, he was off on his own garage adventure at the ring.

Tbf I bet Notion were class.

Right that brings the weekend to a close. The same way it always does, with a stumble back from smokies.

This time with the king stumbler Jimmy D.

Img 20260721 Wa0037

Let me leave you with this one. Just winding down with a majestic moorland vista.

Img 20260721 Wa0038

Until next time. Much love x
