10 years of enjoying the delightful sights of Beatherder festival and the wonderful seeing of the rolling hills of Lancashire (Yorkshire 😉) and all the Northern people. Best people in the world.

It was amazing as always to spend another festival weekend with you. We have frequented beatherder together since 2012. Incredible to think really.

Also let's not forget Felix, who is an absolute festival trooper and part of the beatherder furniture by now. Felix and his tent have been every single beatherder since 2011. Fair play, mad bastard. Not sure who looks worse for it, him or his tent hehe.

I will go loosely in order of the weekend as it unfolded. This was the first track I got apparently. From 15:24 on Friday. Not sure where, but its got a funky beat.
Friday evening, just easing ourselves in. Here's Kathy and Beth looking fabulous as the sun set over our campspot.
Friday was all about the Boombox Circus at Hotel California, where the DnB was popping off all night long and the vibrations could be felt in three dimensions throughout your body and even the wooden floor started to bounce up and down to the beat. No pictures or tunes from this one unfortunately, maybe @Felix you can send us a couple since they were your boyos?
One absolute highlight was seeing faithless headline the mainstage Friday night. This was a treat.
So so many bangers. To see it live, wow.
Kathy enjoyed herself hahaha. We all did.

Okay, lets move on to Saturday. Always a good day.
Especially to sink a few jars in one of the best pubs in the world. Had many a funny time in this place.
Here is the Ken dawg looking a bit worse for wear. A few jars sorted the man out.

I personally enjoyed chilling out to these beautiful mellow beats in smokies.

Then it was back to the mainstage for some bad boy dnb. First with king of the rollers.
If you like dnb then you really love jungle.
Then Sigma to close it out. Class. Another group id never really paid attention to before.

Saturday was a dnb night. All night long. Tbf it was a DnB weekender. Great selection from the Beatherder crew. A highlight for me, as always, was the bad gal Lens. She is a DnB DJing genius with a feminine touch that I appreciate. Give us the sing song, before the dirty bass. Legend. One to watch for sure.

Saturday closed us out with a glorious sunrise which fabz and I appreciated while brushing our teeth.
Okay then, let's wiz through Sunday. Sunday funday. And what a special day this was.
Mr David Price aka Gull eased us in with some soothing reggae tunes.

Managed to get our only group photo of the weekend. Apart from Cal who was too busy sleeping. Lazy bastard.
We had a lovely wedding rehearsal in the chapel.
More practice needed lol.
Then Ken, Ben, Kathy and Beth all said their fairwells and went on their merry way home.
Missed out, sorry to say it.
Sunday is such a magical festival day. Everyone walking around glowing and beaming with joy after one of the most magical weekends of their lives.
Shout out to all the beautiful people. Like these two lovely ladies.

Aswell as Mister Mac, whom we have shared many a festival field with.
Smoked the most chilling doob of the weekend at the bushrocker hifi, monging with Oli under the shade.
Arguably the best view of the weekend.
This one's definitely from Mr Scruff. Doing what he does best, holding down the groove for four hours on Sunday afternoon.
There was a little too much lazing at the tent for my liking, but when Amber's gotta get pissed you don't get in her way.
I just left them to it for a couple of hours. Had a chilling time on my ones.
Reggae of omega nebula and queen omega was chilling.
Then jungle from DJ hybrid to hype me up for the night.
We were definitely raised on the jungle. Jungle Jam, Leeds represent.
Crew assembled for David Rodigan. Fair play, this geezer is 75 and still rocking it with the best. It was a right blast from the past.
I love this song, give you a bit of reggae history and helps you appreciate the impact he had on the reggae scene in the UK.
Not just an old white guy playing reggae. Mans got respect.
Wiggies assemble.
Closed out the Sunday with Wilkinson, another dnb surprise for me. Great stuff.
Just missed Felix, he was off on his own garage adventure at the ring.
Tbf I bet Notion were class.
Right that brings the weekend to a close. The same way it always does, with a stumble back from smokies.
